A teenager has spoken out against the London Underground after being refused to board a train because of his scooter during rush hour. He was attempting to get home to Wandsworth from Old Street station, but was told that he would not be able to get on a train. He tried at Bank station as well, and was told the same thing.
With little cash and no battery on his phone he decided to scoot home. Supposedly telling the Evening Standard that ‘There was no motor on the scooter or anything like that – it was really hard work’.
He had to scoot 7 miles home!
Surely he could have waited for rush hour to end, and then have just jumped on a later train?
